Hi all.
One of the office PCs has a M5A78L-M LX V2 board - https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A78LM_LX_V2/
Its running with a Sempron 145 CPU.
It was running with an old PSU (that came with the case) that was blowing out of its arse, an old HD and 2 GB of ram.
Its only used for an online database, web browsing, emailing etc so nothing intense.
It got pretty slow when loading up multiple pages and it got pretty annoying.
I decided to install a 64GB SSD, a new superflower PSU and 4gb of ram - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-021-TG
The problem Im having is in BIOs the ram only says its running at 800mhz, and thats as high as it will go there. Have I missed something here? Things do seem a bit quicker, but still takes its time to load mulitple things.
We have some other machines with the same processors, and they work really well. No hesitation when loading things etc.
Hopefully someone can shed some light on things.
Thanks.
