Hey

I have upgraded my RAM a while ago now, but this hasn't really come to my attention.

In CPU-Z it says my RAM is 333.3 MHz and the RAM I installed is 667, is this the right MHz or is it like under clocking or something?

and my FSB:DRAM is 3:4, Is this good or bad also?

Well assuming you're using DDR2 then it should read 333.

I don't know how to explain it but DDR2 effectively doubles your speed, thats why it's marketed as 667mhz

ratio is pretty much meaningless; at 1:1 the NB might be a degree or 2 cooler due to it not having to multiply/divide the clocks. you won't notice performance differences with 3:4 / 2:1 / 1:1...

Let me try Boozebeard.

DDR means Double data rate. So per cycle (MHZ) the data can be moved twice per cycle. 333 mhz FSB will run the RAM at 666mhz, as close as it can to the specified speed of 667mhz

OK thanks for clearing stuff up, I Googled my CPU and seen people getting my CPU over clocked to a bit higher then what i had mine at, so i put it up a bit more and now my RAM is at 346MHz or something.

Weird.
