bit of a dumb question here, so please bear with me...
I have a set of Kingston HyperX PC-8500 DDR2 1066 KHX8500AD2K2/4G CL7 (7-7-7-20) @2.2V advertised (not to be confused with the KHX8500D2K2/4G CL5 ( 5-5-5-15 ) @2.2v advertised), and would like to add another 2gb of this Kingston HyperX PC-8500 DDR2 1066 KHX8500D2K2/2G CL5 (5-5-5-15) @2.2v advertised.
My question is, could I run both of these kits at CL 5-5-5-18 @1.85v or 6-6-6-18 @1.85v?
At the moment, I'm running my ram at CL 5-5-5-18 @1.85v 1066 (961MHz because of CPU OC) with no problems at all, I'm planning on a memtest overnight with the CL at 5-5-5-15 @1.85v
Sorry if it's a bit confusing as both kits have different latency and voltage settings and I don't want to screw anything up or waste money on ram that won't work.
