Ram Question

I have gone for Intel Core i5 2500K 3.30GHz @ 4.60GHz DDR3 Sandybridge System , i wanted to upgrade memory from 4GB to 8GB , when i asked i was told if i added 8GB i would loose the overclock

Is this correct ?

IT depends on the RAM. The RAM might not be able to handle as larger overclock as that.

So, try and get some Decent RAM
