Ram question

Hey all. Built a new system back in feb and got 4 gig of ram at the time. It was the geil value ram which no longer is sold here.

Just wondering if i was to add another 4 gig. Do i need identical timmings to the geil ram to work ????

Thanks dude for clearing that up for me. I think the timmings of the geil ram are 9-9-9-28 and some other ram would be 9-9-9-27 so not a lot of difference really.
