Ram Questions

Hello,
I currently have 2 sticks of this ram in my PC:

A-DATA Value Series 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

I was wondering whether if I bought the following ram which is better quality will I see a performance increase slightly:

Also, My knowledge in ram is extremely limited so please go light on me!

You know the timing ie: 5-5-5-15 for example. Whats better, higher or lower numbers?

and what are the numbers for my current ram?

You will not notice a difference switching to that ram.

Lower timings are better/faster.

Can you point me to some ram which WILL make a difference on my system. except added more. I would still like to keep the 2 x 1gb dual channel configuration.

Well you could upgrade to the OCuk PC2-8500 1066Mhz RAM but you are not looking at much of a performance increase. Maybe 2% increase in FPS in gaming?

Better off spending the money on a graphics or processor upgrade.
