I am about to start ordering stuff for my new build but cant decide on RAM basically because i dont know much about RAM. So could someone please recommend some decent RAM for me?
I want 4gb, 2x 2gb, that works well with overclocking a q6600, im thinking about OCing to about 3.5GHz per core.
My spec list:
- Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 1024MB
- Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB)
- Asus P5Q Pro intel P45
- Corsair TX 650W ATX2.2 SLi Compliant PSU
I had thought about getting Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX 2x2GB but have been told if i want to do more serios overclocking i need higher speed RAM. someone said Corsair Dominator PC2-8500C5 TwinX but i don't particularly want to spend that sort of money.
So any recommendations would be greatly appreciated =D
