RAM Recommendations for pre-binned 5.2GHz 8700k

Hi,

I'd greatly appreciate your recommendation on RAM for this chip on ASRock Fatal1ty Professional Gaming Z370 motherboard, please.

I've currently got Corsair 4x8GB 3200MHz @ 14-16-16-36-2T.

For some reason, this ram on this combo won't let me go to even 1T or take it down to 13-13-13-36-1T like I had on my X99 board.

So I was thinking about looking at alternate options.

I've tended to prefer balancing bandwidth with latency, because lower latency can make things feel a little snappier in general use.

What's the advice for this platform? I think it likes the extra bandwidth & what's the highest you'd expect to see? 4000, 4133 or 4500?

I'm looking at your approved team group kits.

depends what chip you've got for coffeelake .

i5 8400 caps out at 3600hz , any higher no matter what timings or voltage and fails to post. i7 8700k i had one the same 8 Pack ram hit 4000+hz

if you like low timings , then 8 Pack ram can hit CL10.

not sure if @8 Pack has tested that ASRock but I know hes tested the Taichi to death and highly rates ASRock boards
