I'll soon be receiving a new IP35-Pro and will be looking to upgrade the RAM when it arrives.

I've currently got 4 sticks of 1GB Ballistix but I'll be selling those off as 2x1GB to two of my friends. I'm after 4GB in total, preferably 2x2GB sticks, with some potential to overclock my Q6600 that was running at 2.8Ghz before. I am, however, aiming for 3.0-3.2Ghz stable.

I'm told with using two sticks over 4, I'm less likely to stress my system out and have more flexibility to overclock the CPU.

Any recommendations?

Well I'll be wanting to overclock my Q6600 to around 3.2Ghz whih seems to be about the standard these days. 8GB sounds tempting but I don't think it'll help with stability with the OC. My old Ballistix was 8500 but I doubt I'd notice much of a difference?

I'd have also thought I could knock it up to 3.2Ghz with 4x1GB anyway, but apparently not...
