Here is my build
ASUS p8z77-V
Intel 3rd Generation Core i7-3770K CPU
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Processor cooler (to be added later)
Corsair Vengeance LP 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory???
LiteOn iHAS124 SATA DVD Write Optical Drive
Sapphire HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
Seagate 1TB Barracuda SATA 6Gb/s 64MB 7200RPM Hard Drive
I need the following for my new build:
- 2 x 8GB ddr3 (to keep the option open for adding another 2 x 8GB RAM later on)
- At least 1600 Mhz
- Would be nice to have some overclocking available in needed in the future
I have found the following:
http://www.corsair.com/en/memory-by-...m4x1600c8.html
OR
Corsair ddr3 (high profile)
http://www.corsair.com/en/memory-by-...m4x1600c9.html
I checked the specifications, but just wanted to check a few things
Few questions:
1) Anyone have any experience this RAM?
2) Is having the higher profile option worthwhile? I guess this helps with the cooling? There is not much price difference between the two.
3) If you feel there are better alternatives for the price (or for a bit more)?
I look forward to your comments.
Thanks
