Ram + Sandy Bridge question

Because sandy is overclocked via the multi only, would 4x2 GB (so in other words, 2 sets of say http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-203-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517) hamper overclocking do you think?

good question.

im assuming you would still be overclocking the memory controller tho so you might run into some stability issues running your rig with more sticks.

only my guess tho.
