Hi guys

In cpuz my ram spd is reported as

CAS# Latency 5
RAS# to CAS# 5
RAS# Precharge 5
tRAS 15
tRC 48

I have set the basic ram settings to 5-5-5-15 but under advanced everything is AUTO. Is it worth setting the tRC to 48? And which setting is it please?

Also the command rate is blank on the spd but states 2T for the next speed up. Should I set this to 1T?

Why.? just leave it on auto, or you will just be asking for problems...:p
 
I want to set it so its running properly!
If I left everything on auto then it would be running 1.8v which it does not like! It wants 2.1v.

I have just changed the command rate to 1T manually but cpuz is still reporting 2T. Very strange!
 
Why Kenny, thank you for all your helpful and considered advice.

I know because as I have slowly overclocked the PC I have had to increase the volts to the ram for the increased fsb speed.

Trial and error, is that not how overclocking works as its not an exact science?
