ram slots

Putting ram into mobo, there three different colours of slot?

Which ones do they do in, there are two sets of slots with same 3 colours.



Gigabytye GA_p35c

and OCZ 2gb pc26400


any help??

As above the answer is in the manual. The red and yellow slots are for DDR2. If using two DDR2 modules place one in each yellow slot or red slot. Just be sure to keep the colors alike.

It worries me when people make a PC without reading what does what.

not the only one - I read my Mobo manual before I bought the mobo - online via their website.

I can't say I've read the manual when researching a purchase, but I read mine cover to cover before building.
