I'm new to this whole custom build PC scene, and i'm not sure what the RAM specs mean.

I.E. RAM running at 1066mHz with 5-5-5-15 timings or 667mHz running at 3-3-3-12.

Cheers for shedding any light on this

1066 Mhz - 667 Mhz, larger numbers are faster.
3-3-3-12, 5-5-5-15 smaller numbers are faster.

there are loads more numbers that are not published (have a look in your BIOS) you can basically ignore them unless you are looking for the last 1mhz on your overclock.
