Any help much appreciated!

Spec is as follows;

Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit
Intel I3 3220 3.30Ghz (Ivybridge) (Stock)
Gigabyte Z77 D3H
Patriot Viper "Black Mamba" 8GB DDR3 2133MHz (2X4GB)
AMD HD7790 1GB (Stock)
Corsair CX750 PSU

Now in CPUZ my RAM was running at 800Mhz, so in my BIOS I turned on XMP and now CPUZ states it is running at 1066Mhz, however 2133Mhz in the BIOS live stats screen.

Any ideas on why it's not at the rated 2133Mhz in windows?

Ahh silly me! I forgot that! :eek:

Thanks for the quick reply!

Also im guessing there is no harm in me using XMP so run the RAM at it's stated speed?

Not going to be overclocking the CPU at all as it's not a K series, so not much point.

Edit: It's took my RAM score up in the Windows 7 bench from 7.5 to 7.6.

Nice free performance increase...lol even if it is only .1 :)
