Hiya guys I have had 8gb (2x4gb) of corsair vengeance blue 1600mhz ram in my system for sometime now, I had a little look on cpuz and saw that my ram was running at 1333mhz. I then went into my bios and changed the x.m.p to profile 1 which should make it run at 1600mhz but everytime I restart my pc it goes straight back to 1333mhz on cpuz what am i doing wrong ?
I have a 2500k and my mobo is a gigabyte Z68AP-D3, should I just keep the ram running at the defaults of 1333mhz? kind of annoying as I paid for 1600mhz not that it will really make much of a performance difference ?
