Hey guys, I've got a quick question about my RAM, it's corsair DDR3 1333MHz RAM purchased from another e-tailer, as you can see from the screen short of CPU-z, it says the RAM is running at 667MHz and that's the max, it's in slots 3+4 on the motherboard I'm not sure if that's the issue, but if anyone can tell me whether it's a problem I need to fix or it's meant to be like that I'd greatly appreciate it :p Edit: I have two 2Gb modules in slots 3+4

Hello - your screenshot is not showing us what the speed of your ram is currently. Rather it is showing what the settings internally of the ram are for different speeds. The tab opened sort of says it all. SPD. Open the tab called memory and post that screenshot. Then we will be able to see what speed your ram is running and if you are in dual channel or not.

Regards

Here's the screenshot, yeah I totally forgot about that, I'm kinda a novice, this is my first self built PC, cheers for the help :D

So your ram is running at the speed that you were expecting yeah. And every single one of us was a first time PC build novice at some time. So ask away if you have any questions at all - better to learn from others mistakes than to learn from making them yourself I say. :D
