RAM speed wrong?

In CPUZ the memory speed is listed at 400mhz even though it's Corsair XMS2 800mhz and I manually set it to 800mhz in the BIOS.

If it helps, my CPU speed is also playing up (Keeps jumping between 6x multi and 8.5)

Yep 400mhz ddr (double data rate) 2x400mhz=800mhz

. Your multi dropping is due to intel speedstep which drops the multi at system idle, disabling speedstep, or c1e/eist will run the multi full all the time.

When I manually put in my mutli, the option of speedstep disappears. When multi is on auto, speedstep is disabled anyway...
