Ram speed

i have this ram

its clock speed is 667mhz , however when i look in the bios it says its running at 533 ?????

Is this normal ??? My mother board supports 667mhz speed. How can i change the speed. In the bios it wont let me.

I have a cheap asrock mother board its great it just cant overclock:

Doesn't matter what RAM you put in it will always run at speed matching the FSB, in this case your stock C2D is running 266Mhz FSB so DDR2 533Mhz.

With regards to mem speed i'm sure there is somewhere you can set it you will have to refer to your manual.
