Someone had a thread about pulling specs from your PC, which led to me installing Speccy and having a look at what it tells me.

Should my RAM be clocked quicker than this?

Is any more info needed?

Yeah, I've been trying to find an email reciept or something, where I can see what it is... and just found it.

Fairly sure it is this -

Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C15 3000MHz - Quad Channel Kit - Red (CMK16GX4M4B3000C15R)

**EDIT** I bought another 4x4GB set later, can't find that email, but I think they would be the same as these original ones.

I may be wrong as I got confused myself when building my PC at the weekend but DDR stands for Double Data Rate

So you would double the figure you have which I think means its running @2133Mhz

What does BIOS say

Okay, I seem to remember that everything should ideally match up and be running at the same speed? Should I be looking to adjust things to do this or does it not matter these days?

This will be were someone else need to take over.

Chances are its a setting in BIOS that is incorrectly setting the speed. Google your MB and see if its shows how to change it.

Or wait for the clever folk to arrive and help.

Thanks, didn't even know about XMP. It didn't boot the first couple of times, reset defaults and set to Profile 1 again and now we're cooking. RAM speeds are now 1499Mhz.
