Sorry but have read through a lot of posts but cant find an answer.
Why are people still buying say 4Gb of 5300 speed rather than the 6400\8500 stuff.
I am looking for 4Gb to run with a IP35 pro and a E6600 as a minimum at the moment(might go up a stage on the cpu) and was ready to order the ballistixs but then read some posts and that threw a spanner in the works.
Any help?
Thanks
Robert

5300 will get your 333*9 on a E6600. The PC6400 will do 400*9. The higher spec RAM will do much higher which is only good if you are overclocking. The Crucial B 5300 can do 6400 speeds and more. Plus, they are cheaper than the higher specification RAM (8xxx).
