RAM temps

I use the highly technical touch test, if the modules are too hot to hold then they need more airflow.

If you're really worried you could get a fan controller with temp probes, or invest in an infra-red or wired thermometer from an electrical shop.
 
Ok, I got a Hiper 80mm fan blowing on them, they seem to be ok. But heard of people you run at ultra volts when they touch their skin melts!!!!! :eek: :eek: :eek:

One thing I was reading an overclocking guide on dfi street and theu said when oc'ing you should run at divider 1:1 is this true, Im running at 166 divider?

so what would be better?

-RAM at 2-2-2-5 240MHz with CPU @2600mhz
-RAM 2-2-2-5 197MHz with CPU @ 2700
