Hi. I've managed to OC my AMD Athlon X2 6000+ from 3Ghz to 3.3Ghz and its stable

I'm happy with that because I have the voltage at 1.4.
Could I increase that any more and still be safe?

Also with my RAM, default is 5-5-5-15. When I try and set it to 4-4-4-15 it wont boot into windows. Am i doing something wrong or is it just not a good OC'ing RAM?

CPU: AMD Athlon X2 6000+
RAM: OCZ Technology 2x2GB 240DIMM PC2-6400 Gold
MoBo: Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe AMD 790FX

If your cooling is good, then you should find the max voltage your memory is rated for and put it up to that, then go a bit more gradual on your timings, first try 5-5-4-15, if thats ok under 8 hours of Memtest86+, then try 5-4-4-15

overclocking is a time consuming and gradual process, normally after each change and test, even a small one, i let it stay like that for about 3 days of pc/game tasks, and then push it a little further.

i wouldnt go any further than 1.4 if you are on air, water you may go to 1.5, but thats pushing it.

im under wate and have it at 1.4 and 3.3Ghz so i think ill leave it at that.

Ok I will do that with the RAM, thanks for that mate.
