RAM:
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-6400C4

Timings:
4-4-4-12 and 800MHz

Iv been told to assume i will need to change the timings to the ones indicated there via the BIOS.

1) Do i do this once build, BEFORE installing windows an stuff?
2) HOW the heck do i do it?

Yes, they will probably show up as 667MHz 5-5-5-15

If you are not overclocking, then yes. If you are overclocking then I would be tempted to leave the timings on AUTO until I had examined the CPU's limits first.

What motherboard are you using? All the brands are different!

I'm surely not trying to be a smart a55 but, it's all in your manual. If this is your first attempt at these things, it is a good idea to read the manual and, have it handy during each step.

can change them before or after i done mine after as dint realise they were wrong till then lol.

its all done in your bios. normally have to press a button as pc boots up to get into bios and it will be in there somewere. you normally have to select manual instead of auto and then select each number and change it to what you want. your motherboard should have a manaual with it explaining how :)
