ram timings

i had some old geil ram lying around, 4 x 512mb of ddr400, put them all in my system and they all work fine, the only prob is i have to diff pairs, pair 1 has the smae timings of 2.5 3 3 6 and the other pair is 2.5 4 4 8, will this hamper perforance? and what is the best way of changing the timings?

Just go into the bios and manually change the timings to the fastest set. Should work ok and is easy to do.
