Ram Timings

I am using this RAM:

On the description it mentions both 8-8-8-24 and 9-9-9-24. And on the RAM stick itself it says 8-8-8 @ 1.65v.

In my BIOS is is set to AUTO, which has put it at 9-9-9-20..?

Confused as to what it's meant to be set at.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

What system are you running the ram on?

You will need to manually setup the timings in BIOS depending on system being used.

Looking at the ram specs, you need 9-9-9-24 as your using SB cpu which can't take a high ram voltage, in saying that your pretty much there already.

Ok then thanks, just got confused when I saw 8-8-8 written on it.

So if I'm using 9-9-9-24 should I be making sure that the frequency is set to 1.65v ?

You would need 1.45 - 1.55v max.
