Hi,

I currently have the following installed ram.

Mushkin Redline 1600Mhz Ram timings are 7-8-7-24. 2 x 4gb sticks. @ 1.65v

I want to add more ram to take it up to 16gb.
With not been able to buy the same Mushkin Redline ram, I'm looking for help of what kind of ram should work along side it?

If I'm correct it would need to be of the same voltage(?)

What ram usually play nice when been paired with a different brand?

I have some patriot 2333Mhz playing nice with corsair vengeance 2000Mhz DDR3.

As long as you use the correct or similar timings, it does not matter a great deal. You will need to experiment to see what the best frequencies, voltages and timings to use.

Overvolting 1.5V to 1.65V is not normally a big issue. Or undervolting and using lower frequencies likewise.

You could try these and undervolt the Mushkin and run at Cas9 timings
