Im still getting blue screens from my 2gb Corsair DDR2 pc 5300 ram, im using a packard bell cuba -ms701 mobo or somthing, it says Memory Managment error when it blue screens apart from the usual BSOD gibberish. I was thinking could it be my mobo doesnt like it or that its not getting enough power from what i can gather my power supply is only 230W.

In most cases, you cannot use performance type memory (XMS is performance type memory) with OEM systems. This type of memory typically requires more memory voltage than the stock standard memory for that system. Most likely low memory voltage is the source of your instability. Value Select or System select are the best options for your MOBO.

ah, so should i get a new power supply?
No, the power supply is not the issue. Your board does not allow you to adjust voltages in the bios. Therefore, you cannot raise the necessary RAM voltage to the setting needed to run high performance memory. You will need to buy value or OEM type memory for that system.
