Ram upgrade advice

I have been looking to upgrade my Ram in my rig to boost performance. I have 1 gig (2x512) 533mhz dual channel. I want to make it 2gig due to windows Vista.

Would I be better off getting a 2gig value pack from OCUK at 800mhz or just add a secong gig?

I know the 800mhz is faster but would I notice a difference in performance and also is the OCUK value packs any good for overclocking?

Managed to get some advice from a different post and got it down to 3 poss sets of ram

All above are around £100 inc vat as money is tight. just one more thing I have been informed and want to know if the Patriot is compatable with the Asrock Alive NF4G-DVI as this board only supports 800mhz so will the ram run at slower speeds? One thing if I ever upgrade board I will have some good memory to move with it.
