Hi All!

Yesterday tried to add another 16gb to my pc to make Dual chanel , saw the diagram on motherboard so i put it on the right place , after switched on its start beeping 5 times , its switched on fine second time checked in dxdiag and and 32gb is there , but still beeping , cards are fully in ... any idea ? i take it off cause dont wanna cook the motherboard .. but both are same Cards same numbers and etc

Thank You

Does it continue to beep, or just beep 5 times and then stop?

Is everything now running fine?

What is the motherboard model, the BIOS date and the memory model numbers?

Hi Thank for quick reply !

motherboard is :gigabyte b760 ds3h ddr4
ram : corsair vengeance rgb 16gb 3600mhz

yes 5 beeps and then stops

take off the "new" card and i put back the old one on the original place , and now just one short beep as it was

`5 beeps = cpu. The motherboard has a fault warning system on board which is designed to help you troubleshoot the issue. In this case your motherboard is telling you that there is something wrong with the processor. Try pulling out and inspecting the processor (gently of course)`
found this online.also try changing out the mobo battery :)

yes its corect ! i put them into the A2 and B2 slots
If everything works then I'm not sure why it still beeps. Maybe the motherboard is just complaining because something changed.

A CMOS clear, or a BIOS update might resolve it. BUT, be wary of doing this if you have Windows Hello, secure boot or TPM enabled.
