RAM upgrade for laptop

Hi,

I'd like to upgrade my laptop from the stock 4GB RAM (Specs from AIDA64: http://d.pr/zHzy) to 8GB RAM. But I'd like to get a speed increase as well if possible.

I don't know much about RAM timings and how they work, but apparently lower timings are better and faster? I was thinking of buying this , but the RAM timings are higher than on my current ones. Does this mean performance will be reduced?

I'm not sure whether my laptop even supports these timings, AIDA64 days this under the Chipset: http://d.pr/7eGJ

Would appreciate the help guys. The laptop I have is a Toshiba Satellite A665-11Z which has an i7 740QM processor.

I would remove the link and the competitor mention before a mod see's

The laptop should support the ram looking at the data, but I doubt you notice any performance different in real world usage.

Hmm... good point.

Hmm, it's just AIDA64 says memory timings are 7T and a load of numbers at 7. That's what worried me, but looks like I'll order it tomorrow then!

I dont think they mind links to the US corsair shop, hardly a competitor.. Especially at that price.
