RAM Upgrade for Witcher 2

Hello I currently have 2 x 2GB RAM (corsair CM3X2048-1600c9DHX) 9-9-9-24 1600mhz

My Specs are in my sig.

1. I am wondering whether I will see a difference if I upgrade to 8GB of ram in a game like the witcher 2?

2. Is it best to buy 2 x 4GB sticks or have 4 x 2GB sticks? I have 4 DIMM sockets

3. Im on a tight budget so i was looking at something like: Corsair Memory XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 C9 1600MHz (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9)

Would 4 of these (1300mhz) be better than my 2gb sticks which are 1600mhz?

Unlikely, and as you're on a tight budget i wouldn't.

99% of games are geared around 4Gb of memory - and looking at the system spec for Witcher 2 this follows the same rule of thumb.

This isn't likely to change anytime soon (perhaps the odd game) as there are a lot of 32 bit systems that the game industry still has to cater for...
