RAM Upgrade from 16GB 3200 C16

Hi,

Would it be worth upgrading this to something along of 32GB 3400 C14?

I manually set the timings on my current RAM to C14 and it made no difference to bench results

I would be looking at something that uses XMP as its always worked well for me.

Its paired with a 2600X but would be used for the next build too, PC is primarily used for gaming

Short answer no.

Long answer, do you have a use case? You say gaming. If your not heavily modding (which is vram anyway) then I cant see how for the 99.9% of games how 32Gb of ram will benefit you.

Save your money.

opethdisciple has got it spot on. Save your money for something more worthwhile down the line.
