I have an old dual stick 4gb of 1800hz ram (8gb total)
Where i work i have been gifted crucial 8gb kit again ddr 2400mhz
My motherboard is Gigabite z97-d3h so 1151 socket for my i54670k
Can i now have 16gb total or does it now quite work in that way.
Its a generic Crucial brand and looks like what you would stick in a work PC (as thats where its from)
