Hi guys, I've currently got 4GB of DDR3 1333MHz ram installed and am looking at upgrading to 8GB but am unsure as to the best way to go or what RAM is recommended at present.

Would it be best taking the 2x2GB sticks I currently have out and replace with 2x4GB sticks, or add to the exisiting 2x2GB I already have?

I'm using a Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P motherboard, 4GB OCZ OCZ3P13334GK memory, and have a Titan Fenrir Evo cooler installed which just hangs over the first RAM slot.

Any help is apreciated :)

Hmmm the cooler could be a problem, is your current ram low profile or does it have large heatspreaders on it? See if you can get one of your DIMMS in that first DIMM slot. If you can then get another set of 4GB, if not then sell your current set and get these

To avoid disappointment your best off trying your current ram in that first slot, just to see if it fits. Those are low profile DIMMS so it shouldn't be a problem, but check first mate.
