Ram upgrade

Hi guys,

I have 4gb of 1333mhz ram now, and I would like to upgrade.

I have a asus m5a78l-m/usb3 Motherboard and I am wanting to upgrade to something like this:

I am pretty sure that my MB is compatible with that, but I just wanted to double check.

Also, it sounds cliche, but will this higher speed ram improve gaming performance? I have a fx-8350 at stock clock and a 7850 2gb if that helps.

Also, what is the highest speed ram I can use on that MB?

it wont make any difference to gaming as far as im aware.

i saw that you wanted the venom red ram but you selected the single 8gb stick as as i understand it its better to have 2 x4gb sticks for dual channel

ocuk only stock the venom red in single dimms instead of a pack of 2 so i just added 2 into the basket to give you an accurate idea of price. its 2x4gb but the price will go back up after tonight so if you want the upgrade then buy it tonight

Just a quick question, would a fx-8350 be bottlenecked by 1333mhz ram?
