Hello there,
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on directing me.
Use to be that when I booted up, RAM usage was 40% (of my 16GB) with just background, Skype, Task manager and HWinfo64 loaded up.
Since updating W10 (Home) to latest version, My RAM seems to have jumped to being 55% and I am now running into 90% usage when my usual stuff is running.
I have checked under startup and nothing seems amiss, I have looked uner resource manager but many again, nothing jumps out at me.
I know Chrome services start on bootup but that was always the case. It is only recently that I am "missing" 1.5GB - 2GB of RAM. Something is running or sitting in the background and I am not sure what.
I am happy to fiddle around under task manager and services and resource manager etc but not sure I have seen anything so looking for other ideas on finding the culprit. I could try and start in safe mode and see if that helps but not sure what that would achieve so please fire away.
TIA
NB
