Ram Voltages

I've got the same ram albeit 2 x 2gb version.

If you look at Corsair's forums, not going above 2.1v is advisable and people don't always get a more stable overclock. I find you don't need to anyway. I have dropped the timings to 5-5-5-12 and it runs perfectly happy at 1066 with 2.1v through it. Can't see the point in trying to get more out of it as the gains above 1066 aren't worth the risk of cooking the ram.

I have not tried higher yet and it may still do more than 1066Mhz or even better timings at that speed. I spent so long maxing my cpu overclock, I have been lazy about my ram so far.

Silly thing really but have you tried less volts?

Plus once going past 400Mhz (800Mhz) are you upping the volts on your northbridge?

No way to switch that off and have manual control?
