Hi guys,

I know that 32bit windows XP / Vista etc could only see 3gb and make use of that amount but I've been reading some places that Windows 7 32bit can see the whole 4gb of ram?

I'm still un sure on the subject, if somebody could explain or point me to a link where I could read on up on it I'd apreciate it.

Also, the reason I'm asking this is because my 2GB of ram is becoming more vastly used up in modern day games and I'm thinking about putting another 2GB in (If it's worth it, and will work).

Many Thanks

Would I notice much performance increase or decrease by just putting another 1gb of ram in and losing "dual channel"?

Thanks

my educated guess would be that you would see an increase in performance, as dual channel makes practically no difference anyway.

Yeah, I've just had a read around and it seems like dual channel in real life situations offers hardly any performance increase :)

Thanks for the reply
