Hey guys, this morning I got a bios message at post saying that the CPU or RAM had been changed and it then booted into windows.
Looking in windows, I could see that the ram had defaulted back to non XMP 4800mhz.

I have a 13900K and Kingston DDR5 6400Mhz Ram (2x 16Gb sticks).

All has been fine for quite some time and then today without anything changing it just stopped working.
I got back into the bios, reset it, put the 6400Mhz XMP back on and I was then stuck in a boot loop/crash situation.

Finally got back into bios and selected 6000Mhz XMP profile, which seems to now work (I'm in windows anyway).

Can anything be done here to get back to where I was at 6400Mhz?
Was this possibly just luck that it worked previously, but was on the very edge of working/not working and today just decided to 'NOPE!'.

Any input/help appreciated, thanks!

Another thing to try is reseat the RAM. Randomly happened to me once, and weirdly enough just swapping the RAM around fixed it...

I updated the bios mid-week and now it all seems fine with no issues.
Bit of a strange one like you said as it had been fine for a while and the bios wasn't multiple revisions out of date (probably 1-2).
