I bought patriot viper 2133mhz ram ( 8gb , 2x4gb) installed it the ram is running fine i went in to bios of my msi mpower z77 and turned on XMP profile to 2133mhz ( was only using ram at 1600mhz) but now its running ram at 2145mhz i havent done any over clocking only changed the xmp to 2133mhz any adivce would be greatly appreciated

have you adjusted the Base clock? (bclk) should be 100

i was trying to show a pic id taken of the bios page but its not showing, says my cpu is running at 3.4 ghz (standard) and my rams at 2133mhz

Thanks Somthing Else didnt ajsust clock but went in to look and changed multipler manually to 34 from auto and now its the fequency it should be
