Actually you could raid two rather inexpensive (relitibly) SSD drives would come to £160 give or take for 60GB in raid 0. 540MB/s
 
I think you might be onto something, sometimes you just gotta let go havent... How ill miss my scsi raid and its constantly whining ! haha.

I lived with the delicate sound of whining drives for a few years and can honestly say I do not miss it. I still use the one card and the drives for when I do picky small file stuff. But more and more they are all staying put in the store room.

At the end of the day you have a good mobo. You have a good graphic card, you have a good CPU I assume (well all X58 type are) the only thing you have that is not up to snuff is your raid set up.

So bite the bullet. :) Mortgage a kidney, it is Christmas so spoil yourself. :D :D
 
Haha, thankfully ive got an understanding supplier who gets me stuff trade and lets me pay, on occasion by monthly installments..

But win 7 64 aint liking the ibiz. Its seen in the bios but not by the drivers supplied by ocz in the win installation.. hmm dont want to have to flash the bios already !
