Rampage Formula vs Maximus Formula

As above really, Ive narrowed it down to these 2 boards, which should I go for and why?

I'd actually advise the Rampage as it will receive more future BIOS updates than the Maximus if X38 really is going end of line soon.

However, the X48 really won't offer That much more over the Maximus, except a higher price tag.

You could buy the maximus and flash to rampage bios then you will get future updates and it can be flashed back to maximus should you wish

450-465 is stable but it should be a lot better with duo and not quad

Yeah which is 400x4 ,so i get 450x4 = 1800

You could even get a P5E and flash it to the rampage bios. Just as good at clocking. I have had 520 fsb with a dual (E8500) and 465fsb with a quad (Q6600). Currently running my E6600 at 8x450 and it is rock solid stable.
