Hi forum,

Just built my Rampage III going from a P6X58D-E,

Im using a corsair H70 and both fans and cpu connector are in the correct places and Im getting a bios error on CPU FAN ERROR.

Any ideas cheers

Under Hardware Monitor, choose 'ignore fan speed' for the CPU. If that solves it, you haven't plugged the fan connector in the right header, or your fan doesn't produce RPM readouts (perhaps due to a broken wire).

Cheers that sorted it,

I had the same error when i used a 3pin on a 4pin cpu fan header. Disabling the alarm worked
