Hi foodies

Off to Petrus tomorrow night, just asking if anyone has been ?

Misses booked me a table for Xmas.... Going to go for chefs tasting menu with paired wines, can't wait. Hope to have tour of Kitchen also.

Wondering what to expect. It's ranked no1 on tripadvisor in London so hoping for something special. Not first starred place I've been to but hopefully the best so far.

Been here a few times, absolutely fantastic place, food is good without being too prissy.

pay the extra for a cheese board if they still do it, your in for a treat

Not wanting to put a dampener on it, that isn't the original Petrus that Gordon Ramsay had.

No it's the new Petrus after he had fisty cuffs with Marcus wareing, but by all accounts it's doing ok

As long as you know that is cool, would be awful to turn up expecting the old one.

I went here last year and everything was absolutely fantastic!

Another +1 for the cheese board (well, cheese trolley) - i must have spent 10 minutes or more with the waitress deciding on the cheeses i wanted!

You won't be disappointed

Menu looks good. I feel for the chefs though, having to put on a show for people.

Went last year and it was excellent, the chocolate sphere for desert was especially good.

I've had this at the London Food Festival, was so good and added a little theatre to the meal!

I hear they put a slow-acting poison in the food, so that shortly after you've written your great review - you drop dead. Apparently the poison is VERY tasty though, hence all the great reviews.
