I'm a bit confused by this one.

New and fresh W7 install, nothing from my old install on these hard drives yet. Today I opened up my user directory (the usual C:\users\me) and I see a folder named .android. Contained within said folder is adbkey (no extension) and adbkey.pub

I've run AVG over the folder and it's not a virus apparently. I do not own an android device and haven't for 2 years now. Googling adbkey brings up stuff about android development, something I wouldn't be doing.

Programs installed on my PC are basically Steam, Battle.net and Origin (sigh) with associated games, VLC, AVG, some utilities such as Speedfan, but as I said, new install.

So, is it a shift+del job or something more suspicious?

Thanks!

Chrome is the only Google product I have installed. I am somewhat reluctant to open a pub file, no reason any legit program would have a MS publisher file as part of it.

Might delete and see what happens
