I'm currently using a contingency laptop, so don't have access to the details, but we currently have an Avaya set up for our call handling.
My previous role made use of Cisco, so I am unfamiliar with how Avaya works and what its capabilities are.
IT are currently dealing with some crisis, so I can't get any info out of them at the moment.
Can Avaya vectors make database queries and act on the responses?
In my last role we had Cisco using SOAP to send queries to our billing and sales databases, and relay information and adjust routing accordingly.
My current role has Avaya and a rather old AS400 database that would need to be queried. Is this likely to be possible?
I'm wanting to have an adaptive IVR that changes menu structures based on the results of the database query.
Cheers
