random black squares/rectangles in firefox, driver or card?

Fairly recently i upgraded my gpu from 2 5770's to a single 7870 XT (powercolor myst), now in Firefox i keep getting these black square things on the screen, mostly in the Facebook chat sidebar but also pretty much everywhere else just less often. the disappear when you highlight the are they are on. Tried winodws 7 and 8 and same thing on both. I'm currently using catalyst 13.3 beta drivers but the same thing happened on the last non beta version too.

any suggestions or has anybody else had this?

I do have the black spots in facebook chat also.It seems a driver related issue.It was in 13.1 and still is in 13.3 beta.

I have this also on an overclocked Gigabyte 7850 WF2 2GB.
