I was watching the Tennis online and Downloading a game on Steam and got a random BSoD:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 124
BCP1: 0000000000000000
BCP2: FFFFFA8004684028
BCP3: 00000000BE200000
BCP4: 000000000005110A
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\070111-5288-01.dmp
C:\Users\*USER*\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-6723-0.sysdata.xml

Specs:
i5 2500k @ 4.5GHz (1.30/1.325v) (H50 cooler)
MSI GD53
Crucial M4 128GB SSD
500GB Seagate Storage drive
XFX 650w PSU

Anyone know what caused this?
Thanks.

Have you checked the minidump or the Event Manager for clues?

My guess is the system was under stress during that point so your OC may not be as stable as you might have thought. Did you perform a post OC stress test?

edit - What are you're memory settings? timings, freq, VDIM?

what is your CPU PLL and VCC Voltages?

I got an error after a few hours in prime so I bumped the voltage up and notch and never tested since it was basically stable at 1.29v but I set it to 1.30v to be safe. The CPU was under barely any stress when it blue screened though.

How do you open the minidump?

DRam - 1.63v
I/O (I think it was) - 1.02v
SP (Again I'm not sure it was called this) - 0.9v
PLL - Just says auto, no value given.

It's not happened since so it may be a one off, but i'll be back if it happens again :D. Thanks for your help.

When in doubt, bump voltages. As heat increases efficiency decreases. You may be 100% stable in winter/spring, but add 5-10c and at a set voltage your cpu/gpu/memory etc will be getting less power. That's my basic understanding anyway. I had a few bsods 2 weeks ago at idle, despite a 6 month 24/7 stable setup. I bumped cpu vcore 2 notches and had no problems since.
