Hi, i seem to be getting random reboots/BSOD, its been happening now for just over 2 weeks, ive tryed reformatting and tried installing on a different hdd, but keep getting the same errors.
Im not sure if my memory is the problem, but its passed 12hrs of memtest ok, ive ran gfx benchmark software and that seems ok, all my temps seem ok.

Here are the last 4 crashdumps created and all seem to point to "ntoskrnl.exe"

Whats could be causing my problems ??

Thanks
Andy

Could be your HDD failing?
Try a different cable as suggested above if you can. Not sure of any tools to check Harddrives but someone else might have a suggestion for a tool

Im getting these BSOD on stock settings, No oc''ing on anything
Ive tryed diffrent SATA cables even tryed diffrent hdd (on ATA cable)
And the above report is off Whocrashed.

At the mo ive just reinstalled the OS again but with my memory running @ 800 instead of 1066, just to rule out a memory problem.

Well since yesterday ive been running my memory @ 800 instead of 1066, and guess what.......it aint BSOD once.
so either faulty memory or incorrect bios settings.

So... whats the best config for my memory in bios, my mobo is a Asus P5Q Pro.

Thanks
Andy

what voltage do you have your ram at? It'll require ~2.1V, but your board will default to 1.8VDimm. If you've tweaked the timings or clock speed, you may need 2.2V.

Volts is @ 2.1 all the rest is @ auto.
I just booted back to 1066 went into a game and i got a blue screen, put it back down to 800 and no blue screen

Looks like its RMA time
